Nautilus Spaceship Escape
Description
You wake on the Nautilus because the lights went out for a second. That is all the game tells you. The corridors are silent, the crew is not where the crew should be, and the only way to find out what happened is to start opening doors and drawers.
It is a point-and-click escape room in the old, patient sense. You click on what looks wrong, you take what can be taken, and you combine what you have when a door refuses to open. There are no hints pushing you along and no timer.
The ship is small enough to hold in your head and dense enough to reward a second pass. A panel you could not open in the first room usually needs something from the third, and the moment the layout clicks into place is the moment the game stops being confusing.
The tension comes from the quiet rather than from anything jumping out. Nothing chases you here. What unsettles is the number of ordinary things that are slightly out of position, and the growing sense that you already have enough information to work out why.
