Description

Lost Adventure begins with a plane already falling. The pilot lands, the passengers land elsewhere, and the game is the distance between those two facts — a stretch of unfamiliar country with nothing prepared for you.

Survival here is a supply chain rather than a health bar. Resources come out of the ground, tools come out of resources, and the tool you are missing is usually the one standing between you and the next person you were trying to reach.

The puzzles are built into the landscape rather than presented as puzzles. An obstacle is a question about what you have not made yet, and the answer is almost always somewhere behind you rather than ahead.

What gives it weight is that the passengers are on a clock. Reaching them is the score, and the game is honest that not reaching one is a possible outcome rather than a failure state to retry.
