Description

Sweet Triple Mahjong changes one rule of the tile game and it changes everything: you need three matching tiles rather than two.

Needing a full trio is what makes the layout matter. Two candies of a kind sitting free are useless until the third comes loose, so a board can look nearly solved while being one buried tile away from stuck. Only the tiles free at the left or right edge can be selected, which limits what you can reach at any moment.

So the game is about order. Taking every available match as it appears feels productive and often buries the tiles you will need later; working out which stack has to be opened first is slower and finishes levels.

Layouts get denser as you progress, with tiles stacked in arrangements that hide more of the board. Nothing is timed, and the later boards assume you will use that: the first tap should come after the plan, not instead of it.
