Description

Merge Beasts is the collector’s version of the merge board. Two of the same creature make one of the next kind, and the next kind is always something you have not seen before. That is the whole reason to keep going.

The creatures are drawn as cheerfully odd rather than frightening, and the chain runs long enough that the early ones stop appearing entirely once you are a few tiers up. Watching the board’s population turn over is a large part of what the game is for.

Coins arrive from the beasts themselves, and spending them upgrades what the board produces rather than buying a merge outright. That keeps the decisions small but real: raise the rate now, or hold the coins for the upgrade that unlocks a tier.

There is no failure state and no clock, only a board that fills if you stop clearing it. Left alone the monster city keeps earning, so a session can be two minutes of tidying or twenty of chasing the next evolution.
