Description

A chain of coloured marbles crawls along a path toward an opening at the end, and you fire marbles into it from a launcher in the middle. Three or more of the same colour touching clears them, and clearing enough shortens the chain faster than it advances.

The pressure is entirely positional. The chain does not speed up to threaten you; it simply keeps moving, so every second spent aiming is distance it gains. Good play is a rhythm of quick adequate shots rather than a search for the perfect one.

Chains clear in cascades when a removal lets two same-coloured groups touch, and setting those up is where the real gains are. A shot placed to create a future match is worth more than one that clears three marbles now, provided the chain gives you time to collect on it.

Bombs, lasers and other tools handle the situations that shooting cannot, and undo exists for the shot you regret immediately. Levels can be replayed, so a board that beat you is a board you can come back to with a plan rather than a hope.
