Superhero Escape Run gives you four caped characters and four places that want to keep them. Each run is a sprint through corridors full of things that will end you on contact, and there is no health bar softening any of it.

One touch is the whole difficulty setting. That sounds harsh, and it is, but it also makes the game readable: nothing whittles you down slowly, so a run that fails does so at a specific spot you can name and practise. The route is a sequence to be learned rather than a challenge to be survived.

Jumping is the only tool that matters, and the traps are timed rather than random. Learning when a blade swings back or a platform drops takes a few attempts, and once you have it the same stretch that killed you six times goes by without a pause.

Restarting is instant, which is the mercy the difficulty needs. Runs are short, deaths are cheap, and the pull of the game comes from stringing together sections you already know into one clean escape rather than from any single jump.
