Description

Survival Sword Battle removes health entirely. One clean hit ends a fight, and it ends it for whoever was slower, which is a rule that changes how the whole arena moves.

Because there is no trading damage, there is no trading at all. Every approach either works or costs you the round, and the arena spends most of its time in a standoff of people circling each other and refusing to commit. The players who win are the ones who make the other person move first.

Speed is the only upgrade, and it comes from surviving. Ten character evolutions raise how fast you move, which sounds minor and is not; a faster character can leave a bad approach halfway through, and that changes which approaches are worth trying.

The leaderboard measures how long you lasted, not how many you took down, which is the correct choice for a game like this. Aggression gets you kills. Patience gets you the board.
