Description

i8 City Driver is a driving game without a finish line. The map is a city in the early morning, mostly yours, and what you do in it is up to you — there are challenges if you want them and nothing pushing you towards them if you do not.

Triggers scattered around the map are how it keeps a free roam interesting. Drive into one and it asks for a speed, a stunt or a drift, right there, using whatever road you happen to be on. Wandering becomes a loop: you drive, something asks you to prove a skill, you go back to driving.

Nitro is there mainly for traffic, and the game is honest about that — a boost past a slow car rather than a lap-winning weapon. Upgrades and customisation change the machine underneath, so the city stays the same while the way you cross it does not.

You can also get out and walk, and the dog comes along for the three driving challenges, which tells you the tone better than any description would. It runs on WASD with two extra keys.
