Description

Drag racing removes steering from the equation and leaves timing. Two cars, one straight strip, and a result that comes down to who moved through the gears at the right revs.

Shift early and the engine falls out of its power band; shift late and you spend a second doing nothing useful at the top of the rev range. The window is narrow and it moves as you upgrade, which means a car you had learned to drive perfectly needs relearning the moment you fit a better gearbox.

Twelve cars unlock across five cities, and upgrades change the shape of the run rather than just the numbers. More power without more grip simply means a longer wheelspin off the line, and the game lets you make that mistake.

Nitrous is the last variable. Used off the line it is mostly wasted on a car that cannot put it down; used in third it makes up the length of a car. There is no fuel meter and no timer between races, so working out where yours belongs costs nothing but attempts.
