Description

Tri Peaks works on one simple rule: you may take any face-up card from the table that sits one rank above or one rank below the card on top of your pile. Nines take eights and tens, and the sequence keeps going for as long as the table allows.

That rule is what turns each layout into a puzzle. Clearing one card exposes another underneath it, so the order you work in decides whether you open a path or seal one off. Two moves that look identical can leave completely different tables behind them.

When nothing on the board matches, you turn a card from the stock and start again from a new value. The stock is limited, and every card you burn there is one you no longer have for a dead end later, which is why long chains matter more than they first appear.

The levels sit inside a fantasy world of dwarfs, elves and mermaids, with new scenery arriving as you progress. The story is light and never gets in the way, but it does give the run of levels a shape, so finishing one leads naturally into starting the next.
