Word Hunt asks two things at once. A clue tells you what word to spell, and the letters you need are falling down the screen among ones you do not.

Knowing the answer is only the first half. Letters have to be tapped in the right order, and a letter that scrolls off the bottom is gone until it comes around again — which is how a word you solved instantly still takes three passes to complete.

That split is what makes it work. Solving the clue is a vocabulary problem, catching the letters is a timing one, and being good at one does not carry you through the other.

Clues cover animals, food, places and everyday objects, so there is little pattern to anticipate. Words get longer and the letters fall faster as you progress, which squeezes both halves at the same time.
