ColorWars.io drops every player into the same arena with a small patch of colour and a simple job: make it bigger. Ground only becomes yours once you leave your territory, draw a loop through open space and get back home, which means every claim starts by making yourself vulnerable.

That trail behind you is the whole risk. While you are outside your own colour, anyone who crosses your line ends your run, and you are doing exactly the same thing to them. A wide, greedy loop pays far better than a cautious one, and it also gives everyone else a much longer line to aim at.

Gold builds up in real time and pays for defensive structures inside your territory. Spending it early makes your home hard to raid but leaves you short when you want to push outward; hoarding it does the opposite. There is no right answer, only whichever mistake the rest of the lobby is not punishing today.

The leaderboard tracks the whole arena, so you can see who is running away with it and decide whether to keep expanding quietly or go and cut them off. Games are quick, and the map looks completely different by the time one ends.
