Description

Escape from the Portal drops you into a 3D underworld with one job: find the pieces that switch on an ancient portal, then use it before anything else does. The catacombs are damp and barely lit, and the only way out is the way the trouble came in.

Most of the time goes into exploration. You work through winding tunnels, push doors open, and pick up anything useful. Some rooms hide pressure plates and spike traps that need a careful step-by-step approach; others hold the artifacts that slot into the portal at the end.

The magic system gives the combat its shape. Spells bind to number keys and are fired mid-fight depending on what is in front of you — a small skeleton falls to one quick cast, while something heavier wants you to swap spells, circle a pillar, and pick your moment.

A shop and an inventory let you stock potions and gear between deeper runs, and a hint button covers the puzzles that will not open up, so a twisting layout never becomes a dead end.
