Description

Escape Room Mystery Key lets you choose your building and then locks you in it. An abandoned school or an abandoned hospital, both dark, both quiet, and both holding a key somewhere in pieces.

The puzzles are the classic escape-room kind: a number written somewhere it should not be, an object that belongs in a different room, a lock that needs four digits you have seen three of. Nothing is hidden unfairly, but plenty is hidden in the corner of a room you walked through quickly.

The horror is atmosphere rather than event. There are few jump scares and a great deal of silence, and the tension comes from a building that is too large to search comfortably rather than from anything chasing you.

The two settings share a structure but not a solution, so finishing one does not spoil the other. It is a proper unhurried escape room, and it expects you to look at things twice.
