Description

Sudo Tetroid Daily is sudoku, played by the rules you already know. Fill the grid so that every row, every column and every three-by-three box holds each digit exactly once, with no repeats anywhere in those three directions.

What makes sudoku work is that it never needs a guess. Every digit on a correctly built grid can be reached by elimination, so a puzzle that feels stuck is one you have not yet looked at from the right direction rather than one asking you to gamble.

The reliable method is to work from what the grid forbids. Scan a row for the digits it is missing, check which of the remaining cells can legally take each one, and pencil in candidates wherever more than one still fits. Placing a number because it looks likely is how a clean grid turns into an hour of unpicking.

There is a full run of levels to work through and a separate daily puzzle that changes every day. The daily gives you one grid and one attempt at doing it cleanly, which is a very different pressure from picking your way through the level list at your own pace.
