Description

Tank Battle.io puts you in a tank and gives you missions to carry out. Enemy armour fires back, obstacles block the clean routes, and the fighting itself is direct enough to pick up in seconds. The interesting decisions happen before you drive out.

Weapons are assembled rather than picked. You combine parts into the armament your tank carries, and different combinations suit different jobs — something that punches through armour is wasted on a mission full of fast, light targets, and the reverse gets you destroyed.

There is a roster of tanks to choose between as well, and they differ in ways that matter under fire. A tank that survives a straight exchange is not the one that gets through a mission built around avoiding contact, and learning which is which takes a few losses.

Each level has its own difficulty setting, and the harder ones return more, which gives the choice actual weight. Playing safe on an easy level earns steadily; taking on something above your loadout earns more and often earns nothing at all.
