Description

A mask found inside a tomb lets you scale walls as easily as running along the floor, and the tomb it came from is a vertical maze with no top in sight. Every attempt generates a different one, so nothing can be memorised between runs.

Climbing changes what a wall means. A dead end at floor level is usually only a dead end horizontally, and the route upward is often the wall you were about to turn away from.

Traps and enemies are placed throughout and neither waits for you to decide. Power-ups scattered in the maze are what get you past the obstacles that cannot simply be climbed around, so exploring sideways is worth doing even though the goal is up.

A clock runs the whole time and it is the real opponent. Every second spent working out a section is a second not spent climbing, which puts the game in a constant argument between moving carefully and moving at all.
