Description

Magic Stones 2 runs on about the tersest rule a matching game can have: tap two or more adjacent stones of the same colour and the whole group disappears at once.

Each level sets its own target, and that target is what turns small groups into waste. Taking a pair of two is legal, but it is the larger groups you waited to assemble that actually move you toward the number being asked for.

Finishing levels earns experience, and experience unlocks special powers. Those powers are not decoration: a board that stalls on the later levels almost always wants one of them spent at the right moment.

The game comes from a time when matching games were still built plainly, and that shows in how quiet it looks. It is played with a mouse on a computer.
