Description

Heroes Beware puts you on the other side of the usual arrangement. The heroes are the ones marching in, and you are the dungeon they walk into — hatching monsters from eggs, merging them into stronger ones, and lining the track with whatever your brood has become.

Merging is the engine. Two monsters of the same tier combine into the next one up, and there are fifty tiers across ten elemental classes to climb. Where you drop them matters as much as what they are: monsters of related elements form synergy bonds with their neighbours, so a well-arranged track outperforms a stronger but scattered one.

Waves arrive with checkpoints between them, and a Core that falls costs you gold rather than your monsters — a defeat sets you back without wiping out the hour you spent building. Boss waves punctuate the run, and the dungeon keeps earning while you are away.

Behind the track sits the part that outlasts any single run: the Dark Forge, a talent tree, a monster shop, and a rebirth that trades progress for permanent strength. It plays with the mouse and a row of hotkeys on a computer, and entirely by tapping and dragging on a phone.

How to Play:

Move or merge: Drag a monster — the same tier merges, a different tier swaps places
Hatch: E or Space to hatch an egg
Inspect: Left-click a monster to read its stats
Camera: Mouse wheel to zoom, right-drag to pan the dungeon
Shortcuts: A for auto-merge, F for game speed
Panels: U Dark Forge, S Shop, T Talents, C Codex, R Rebirth, Esc to close
On a phone: Tap Egg Spawn to hatch, drag to merge, tap a monster to inspect, use the HUD buttons
