Description

Yarn Fever is a sorting puzzle with knitting for a theme. Threads come out of knitted objects one at a time, and each has to end up in a box of its own color.

Space, not color, is the thing you are actually managing. Boxes hold a limited number of threads and the sorting area is small, so pulling a thread you have nowhere to put is how boards get lost. The discipline is opening a box you can actually fill rather than starting three at once.

Later levels add colors and take slots away, which tightens the same squeeze rather than changing it. The order you unravel things in starts to matter more than which thread you want next.

Power-ups exist for the moments that go wrong — the Magic Box adds sorting space when you have none left. It is best kept for a board that has genuinely locked up rather than spent to save a few seconds of planning.

How to Play:

Collect: Tap a thread on a knitted object to pull it loose
Sort: Tap a box of the matching color to put the thread away
Watch your slots: Pulling a thread with nowhere to put it is what loses boards
Magic Box: Adds extra sorting space — save it for a real jam
Finish: Clear every thread to complete the level
