Description

Two RX7 Drifters is built around a rotary coupe and the thing everyone actually wants to do with one. Three tracks, no lap times to chase, and a scoring system that only cares how long you can hold the car sideways.

Drifting well is a balance rather than a manoeuvre. Too little throttle and the car straightens; too much and it spins. The correct amount changes with the corner, and the whole skill is finding it again a hundred metres later.

The two-player mode puts both cars on one keyboard, which changes the feel entirely. You can see what the other person is doing, they can see you overcorrect, and that visibility makes a drift battle more nervous than a solo run ever gets.

Body colours, underglow and rims are there for the part of the hobby that has nothing to do with driving. None of it makes the car faster, which is exactly the point.
