Description

Arcade GP is a top-down open-wheel racer with more going on than the perspective suggests. The overhead view shows the whole track, which makes planning an overtake possible — and the AI is aggressive enough that you will need to.

Tire wear is the part that changes how you drive. Fresh tires hold the line and let you brake late; worn ones lengthen your braking distance and make corners unpredictable. Pushing hard early is a decision with a cost attached rather than a free advantage.

Pitting is therefore a judgment call. Come in too early and you spend fresh tires stuck behind traffic; leave it too late and the worn set has already given away the positions you were protecting. The stop itself is a minigame — a different number key for each tire — so a rushed pit costs real time.

ERS gives a burst of power on demand, and it is finite. Used early it feels good; saved for the straight where you are already close to the car ahead, it wins the position. Cameras can be switched mid-race with a single key.
