Description

Obby Escape: Prison Rat Dance is a parkour escape played as a rat, which mostly means the prison is enormous and you are not. Getting out takes climbing, jumping and sliding through rooms built to keep you in.

The obstacle courses are only half the problem. Guards patrol the route, and being seen sends you back to the start of the section — so a jump you can make reliably still has to be made at a moment when nobody is facing your way.

That pairing is what gives the platforming its tension. Waiting for a guard costs you the rhythm a tricky sequence needs, and taking the sequence at the wrong moment costs the whole section. Watching a patrol through once before moving is almost always faster than not.

Rooms hide shortcuts as often as traps, and the layouts get more elaborate the closer you get to the outside wall.
