Description

Dice Puzzle is a merge puzzle that uses dice instead of the usual numbered tiles, and that small twist changes the whole feel. You get a grid in the middle, a tray of dice on the side, and a simple loop — pick a die, drop it on the board, watch what happens when faces start matching. Pull off a clean merge and the dice you placed combine into a single higher-value piece, freeing up space and pushing your score forward.

The core rule is that any time three or more dice with the same face touch each other, they snap together into one upgraded die. What makes it interesting is that connections work in straight lines and on the diagonals, so a face does not have to sit in a perfect row to count. That extra freedom lets you set up bigger merges than you would expect, but it also means you can box yourself in if you stop watching the diagonals.

The tray throws a wrinkle into your planning by handing out dice solo and in pairs. Pairs are stuck side by side and only fit in spots that have room for both halves, so you sometimes need to rotate them in the tray before they will sit where you want. To take some of the pressure off, the game gives you storage slots where you can stash awkward dice for later — saving a piece you cannot place right now is often the move that unlocks a clean merge two turns down the line.

Where it gets satisfying is when merges chain. Combine three sixes into a higher die, and that new die might immediately match the ones next to it, triggering another merge, and another. Limited grid space means every drop counts, every rotation matters, and every storage decision has a cost. The board is small enough to grasp at a glance and deep enough that a careless minute can fill it up — the kind of strategy puzzle you keep poking at to see how high your numbers can go.

Game Controls

How to Play:

• Pick a single die or a pair from the tray and drag it onto an empty cell on the grid
• Tap a die in the tray to rotate it — useful for fitting awkward pairs into the right slot
• Drop pieces so 3 or more matching faces touch in a line or diagonally to auto-merge into a higher die
• Use the storage slots to set aside dice you cannot place yet and pull them out later
• Chain merges by setting up combos that trigger one after another to maximize your score
