Description

Everyone has played 2048 on a four-by-four grid. Cubatoria takes the same rule, two equal numbers make one bigger number, and rebuilds it as coloured cubes sitting in a three-dimensional space you can turn and look around.

The change is not cosmetic. On a flat board a merge only ever happens in four directions; here a block has neighbours you have to look for, and a stack that seems finished from one angle often has an obvious pair waiting behind it. Turning the view is part of playing, not decoration.

There is also a way out that the original never had. Blocks you no longer want can be thrown into the river for coins, and coins raise the power of your merges. It softens the dead end that kills most 2048 runs, where the board fills with numbers that will never find a partner.

Chests unlock as you progress and speed things up further, so the game is less about surviving a single perfect run and more about steadily raising the ceiling. If the original always ended before you were ready, this is the version that lets you keep going.
