Brainrot Merge takes the drop-and-combine format that fruit games made popular and swaps the fruit for the cast of characters that took over short-video feeds: Tung Tung Tung Sahur, Chimpanzini Bananini, Spioniro Golubiro and the rest of that nonsense menagerie.

The rules are as simple as they look. Pick a column, let a creature fall, and when two identical ones touch they merge into the next creature up the ladder. Bigger creatures are worth more points and take up more room, which is the whole tension of the game.

What makes it harder than it sounds is that nothing sits still. Every drop nudges the pile, a merge in the middle collapses everything above it, and a creature you meant to park on the left can roll to the right and ruin a pair you were saving. Physics, not planning, has the final say.

Runs are short and there is no way to undo a drop, so the game lives on restarts. It suits a few spare minutes and a tolerance for absurdity, which is more or less what its cast was built for.
