Description

Frost Land buries everything under snow and gives you a flamethrower to find it again. Resources are not hidden behind enemies; they are hidden under white, and clearing an area is the first half of every task.

That turns exploration into a spending decision. Fuel is limited, melting is slow, and a large area cleared badly gives you less than a small one cleared properly. Choosing which frozen zone to open next is the strategic layer the game runs on.

Shelter is what makes the cold survivable, and it grows outwards from whatever you have managed to uncover. Expanding too fast leaves you with a base you cannot heat; expanding too slowly leaves you with nothing to build from.

Nothing about it is fast, and the winter never lets up. It is a game about steady management under a constant, unglamorous pressure, and the moment a shelter finally holds is worth the hour that got you there.
