Desert Rover Survival
Description
Desert Rover Survival is an idle game about building a vehicle. You start with a frame and a few scrap parts, and every run into the desert brings back materials for the next version of it.
Each component does something specific. A bigger fuel tank buys distance, better wheels handle rougher ground, and extra storage means you bring more back from a run. Because parts compete for the same materials, builds tend to specialize — a rover that travels far but carries little, or the reverse.
Runs happen on their own once you set off, so the actual decisions all happen in the workshop beforehand. How far you get is settled by what you bolted on, not by anything you do while the rover is moving.
The desert gets harsher the further out you go, with terrain that drains fuel faster and stretches with nothing worth collecting. Reaching them at all takes a rover built specifically for the distance.
Game Controls
How to Play:
- Drag parts from the workshop onto the rover to fit them
- Click a fitted part to upgrade it with the materials you have
- Send the rover out and wait for it to return with what it collected
- Balance fuel capacity against storage — both draw on the same materials
- Upgrade wheels before pushing into rougher ground further out
