Description

Plants VS Zombies defends a house with a garden. Zombies walk down fixed lanes toward your porch, and everything you put in their way costs sun — which falls from the sky and is produced by the sunflowers you decided to plant instead of something that shoots.

That tension is the whole game. Early sun spent on sunflowers pays for everything later; early sun spent on defense keeps you alive long enough to reach later. Getting the balance wrong in either direction loses the level.

Plants have clear jobs. Peashooters do steady damage down a row, Wall-nuts absorb what the shooters cannot kill in time, and Cherry Bombs clear a group that has already broken through. Placing them per lane, based on what is coming down it, matters more than the total number of plants you own.

Zombie types force adjustments — a bucket on the head means more damage is needed, and the ones that vault your defenses ignore the wall entirely. Levels introduce them steadily enough to teach the counter before demanding it.
