Description

RiddleMath is not a drill. Each level gives you a set of numbers and a shape to fit them into, and the answer is not a calculation you perform but a pattern you notice. Once you see it, the arithmetic takes two seconds.

That makes it a very different exercise from a times-table game. Working faster does not help. What helps is trying an assumption, watching it fail, and understanding why it failed, which is the actual method behind every puzzle here.

The levels are built in the style of IQ test questions, and they escalate by adding a constraint rather than by adding digits. A puzzle you solved by trial and error will be followed by one where trial and error takes too long, which is how the game teaches you to look first.

Nothing is timed and nothing is lost, so a level you cannot see is one to leave and come back to. Most people find at least one puzzle here that is obvious the moment they look at it again the next day.
