Description

You launch numbered cubes onto a platform and matching pairs combine into the next number up. The catch is what happens when they do not match: the cubes bounce off each other and stay where they land. Nothing is cleared away for you, so every miss makes the platform a little more crowded.

That makes aim the whole skill. A cube thrown slightly wide can wedge itself between two others and block a merge that was about to happen, and breaking that jam needs both a matching number and a line to reach it. Throwing hard and often still works early, then stops working around the point the platform fills.

Because the cubes are physical objects rather than tiles on a grid, chains happen by themselves once a merge shifts the pile. A single well-placed throw can set off several combinations in a row, which is the most satisfying thing the game does and also the hardest to plan for.

The target on the board is 2048, and reaching it takes far longer than the first few merges suggest. One click or tap is the entire control scheme, so the game is easy to start and equally easy to continue in short sittings. What holds it together is that failure is gradual: you can watch the platform filling long before it ends the run.
