Hazmob FPS is one of the more serious shooters you can open in a browser. Team-based matches on varied maps, customisable loadouts, several modes, and a ranked ladder that sorts people by ability rather than by time spent.

The shooting is built to be learned rather than sprayed. Recoil is consistent, weapons behave differently at different ranges, and holding an angle beats running at someone almost every time. Players arriving from arcade shooters usually spend their first matches finding that out.

Loadouts and skills add a layer above the aim. Skill slots on the number keys change how a round is fought rather than only how hard you hit, and a team that coordinates them covers ground a better-aiming team cannot.

Maps reward learning. Every one of them has a handful of positions that decide the round, and knowing where they are is worth more than reflexes. It is the closest thing on this site to a full competitive shooter, and it asks for the same patience.
