Description

Sniper vs Sniper puts two marksmen on the same map and gives neither of them another way to win. There is no close-range weapon and no teammate, so the whole match turns on which of you spots the other first.

Looking through the scope narrows your view sharply. While you are aiming, you are blind to the rest of the map, and your opponent knows that weakness precisely because they are dealing with it too.

Moving after a shot therefore matters more than the accuracy of the shot itself. A miss gives your position away, and a sniper who stays in the same nest usually does not stay there long.

Matches are short and quiet, with long gaps between shots. The tension comes out of those gaps rather than out of noise, and patience beats fast hands more often than not.
