Description

This takes the merge rule everyone knows from 2048 and drops it into an arena full of other players. Cubes lie scattered around, collecting them extends your tail, and two matching numbers next to each other combine into the next value up.

Growing is the goal and the danger at once. A longer tail carries more value and covers more ground, but it also makes you slower to turn and easier to catch, so the strongest position on the board is rarely the safest one.

Smaller players are food and larger ones are a threat, which means the arena sorts itself constantly. Someone who was harmless a minute ago has merged their way past you, and the safe corner you were farming quietly is now somebody else's hunting ground.

The dash is your only escape and your only chase, and it works equally well for both. Spending it to run means you have nothing left when an opening appears; saving it means watching that opening go to someone braver. Reaching 2048 is the stated goal, and surviving long enough to get there is the real one.
