Description

Broomcraft puts you on a flying broom above a field that keeps refilling with skeletons and goblins. There is no attack button, so what you actually steer is the distance between yourself and everything that wants to close it.

Spells cast themselves, which moves the entire decision to the moment you level up. Three options appear, you take one, and that spell keeps firing for the rest of the run whether or not it suits what shows up next.

Because spells evolve rather than stack, an early choice compounds. Feeding the same line repeatedly turns it into something that clears a screen; spreading picks thinly leaves you with several spells that each almost work, which is the most common way a run quietly ends.

The broom leap is the only escape once a crowd closes, and it has to be saved for that. Using it to travel is comfortable and it is also the reason people find themselves surrounded with nothing left to spend.
