Description

Badlands Hero removes the trigger. Your hero fires automatically the moment an enemy comes into range, which means the only thing you contribute is position — and it turns out that is most of the game anyway.

Standing in the right place does several jobs at once. It decides which enemy gets shot first, whether you are inside somebody else’s range while you do it, and whether the group closing from the left arrives before or after you have dealt with the one on the right.

Progress runs on two currencies. Experience unlocks new heroes, each with a different weapon type and therefore a different comfortable distance, while gold improves the gear on the one you are using now.

Bosses arrive at the end of stretches and punish a build that only works against crowds. It plays with WASD, a mouse click, or a drag on a phone — one input, all the way through.
