Description

Drone Wars puts you in a walled arena with one combat drone and no way out. Enemy drones arrive in waves, they arrive from every edge, and they keep arriving — the game is not about clearing the room but about how long you can keep flying inside it.

The controls are the whole design. You do not steer with keys; you click or tap the spot you want and the drone flies there. That is simpler to describe than to use, because committing to a destination commits you to the path as well, and a path drawn through the middle of a swarm cannot be taken back.

So the skill is reading the arena a second ahead. Space that looks open when you click may be occupied by the time you arrive, and the drones that matter are the ones you are flying towards rather than the ones chasing you. Corners look safe and are the worst place to be caught.

Waves grow denser rather than tougher, which keeps the difficulty honest — you lose because the room ran out of room, not because something quietly got stronger. Runs are short, and the whole thing works with one finger on a phone.

Keep moving: The drone takes the straight line, so choose the path as well as the spot
