Description

Road of the Dead puts you behind the wheel of a modified car in a city that has been sealed off. Zombies fill the streets, and the soldiers on the barricades have orders to stop anyone leaving — which makes both of them obstacles rather than one being a refuge from the other.

Driving is where everything is decided. Plowing straight through a crowd covers the windscreen in blood, and a windscreen you cannot see through is how runs end. The wiper is a real control here, and remembering it under pressure is part of the game.

Points come from stunts: drifts, big hits, combos strung together. They pay for upgrades — spiked bumpers, armor, weapons — so driving recklessly is not just permitted but funded, provided you survive it.

The horn is the tactical option most players ignore. It pulls zombies toward a spot, which can clear the lane you actually want or bring them onto the soldiers who were shooting at you.
