Description

Bus Color Jam is a station-management puzzle with one rule: a passenger only boards a bus of their own color.

The trouble is that the queue rarely matches the bus at the stop. That is what the waiting tiles are for — somewhere to park a passenger whose bus has not arrived. There are only a few of them, and once they are all full while the right bus is still not there, the station jams and the level ends.

So the real decision is never who to board; it is who to set aside. Filling a tile with a passenger whose color is about to arrive anyway is the mistake that loses levels, usually two or three moves before it looks like a mistake.

Later stages add more colors, more routes and longer queues, which narrows the margin without changing the rule. The same reasoning still works — there is just less room to be wrong.
