Bus Driver Simulator 3D is about the length of the thing you are steering. A bus does not turn where a car turns, does not stop where a car stops, and the rear of it goes somewhere you cannot quite see. Every route in the game is really a lesson in that.

The maps are drawn from real places and each behaves differently. Los Angeles is dense and impatient, with traffic that gives you nothing. Alaska is nearly empty and the problem is the snow instead: a road with no other cars on it is still a road you can slide off.

Rome and Berlin sit between the two, tight streets against open ones, and switching between them resets what you thought you had learned. A gap that was comfortable on a highway is not a gap at all in an old European centre.

Indicators, a horn and a handbrake are all mapped, and using them properly is not required but does change how the drive feels. It is a slow game on purpose, and it is at its best when you stop trying to arrive quickly.
