Description

Gold Tower Defense puts a pile of gold in the middle of the board and sends monsters to take it. Your job is holding them off until the waves run out.

The tower positions are fixed and decided in advance. That removes half of the usual decisions in the genre and moves all the weight onto which tower deserves each spot.

The towers themselves come from a graded draw. You do not always get what you wanted, so part of the game is making a working line out of whatever came up.

There are eighty story stages, and stars earned from wins trade in for rewards. Heroes and items can be used anywhere, and they are the way out when the draw is not cooperating.
