Description

Crazy Hill Climbing gives you gas, brake and a car that will happily flip onto its roof. Fifteen levels of steep, broken ground stand between you and the end of each track, and the car has no steering because there is nowhere to go but forward.

The throttle does two jobs at once. It moves you up the hill and it tilts the car backwards, so holding it down on a steep climb rolls you over just as surely as running out of momentum halfway up leaves you sliding back. Most of the skill is easing off at the crest and getting back on it in the dip.

Flips are worth points and are also how most runs end. A front or back flip off a ridge pays out if you land on your wheels, and the temptation to chase one on a jump you had not planned for is where a good run usually goes wrong.

Coins go into the engine, tyres and suspension, and each part changes a different failure. More engine gets you up steeper ground and tips you over more easily, while better suspension forgives the landings that used to end a run. Upgrading in the wrong order makes a track harder rather than easier.
