Description

Pipe Connect is a puzzle about rotation. The board arrives with the pipe segments already in place but facing the wrong way, and your job is to turn each one until they join into a single unbroken route for the water.

The pieces come in a few shapes: straights that carry water through, elbows that turn it, and T-junctions that split it. What you cannot do is move a piece to a different square. All you can change is which way it faces, and that restriction is what makes the puzzle interesting.

Early boards hold a handful of pieces and one obvious route. Later ones add a second water source, squares you cannot route through, and a cap on how many rotations you are allowed. At that point spinning pieces at random burns through your allowance before the route appears.

Plenty of boards have more than one valid solution, so there is room to approach them your own way. Tracing outward from the water source is usually faster than starting somewhere in the middle and hoping it connects.
