Description

Survival in Area 51 opens with a job that sounds harmless. You are Stas, a worker at the most secretive facility on the map, handed a strange assignment: find acid and pour it into an unusual device. You do as you are told. Then the ground shakes.

An explosion tears through the underground levels, and whatever that device was holding does not stay contained. Zombies pour through the corridors and tear into the scientists and guards who were there a minute earlier.

From there the goal is simple to state and hard to do: get out. The facility is crawling with the undead, and the living are not friendlier — armed mercenaries are down there too and have no interest in helping you reach the surface. Clearing rooms under pressure while ammunition runs thin is most of the game.

It is not pure combat. Simple puzzles are built into the route and gate your progress, which forces you to read the environment rather than sprint past it, and the 3D presentation leans into how enclosed an underground complex feels.
