Description

Races run across a side-on course full of hills, drops and ramps, and finishing first is only half of what the game asks. Accelerating and braking also tilt the bike, so the same two keys that control speed decide whether you land on both wheels or on your head.

The boost meter fills from stunts rather than from anything you do on the ground. A flip taken off a jump pays for the speed that gets you past the rider ahead, which means playing safe is slower in a very direct way. Landing it is the condition — a flip that ends face down gives you nothing.

Achievements sit alongside the finishing position and change what a good run means. Some ask for a top-five place, others for the whole course inside sixty seconds, and chasing one usually means giving something up on the other. A course learned well enough can satisfy both, but not on a first attempt.

You begin as a robot and unlock more characters and features by winning, so the roster grows out of the racing instead of being handed over. The locations change the shape of the terrain more than the rules, and the arrow keys with the space bar cover everything the bike can do.
