Fantasy Math Number
Description
Fantasy Math Number dresses arithmetic drill as a dungeon run. A monster blocks the path, a sum appears above it, and the only weapon is the right answer typed before the monster reaches you. Get it right and it falls; hesitate and you lose ground.
The questions cover addition, subtraction and multiplication, and they get harder as the run goes on rather than jumping between levels. Early monsters ask for single digits; later ones want two-digit sums and times tables you have to actually know rather than count out.
Speed is scored alongside accuracy, which is the point of the design. Working out seven times eight on your fingers is correct but slow, and the game keeps pushing until recall replaces calculation. That is the difference between knowing arithmetic and being fluent in it.
Runs are endless and the score carries your progress, so there is no level to be stuck on and nothing to unlock. It works as a five-minute warm-up before homework, or as a way to keep multiplication tables from going rusty over a school holiday.
