Description

Lava Ladder Leap gives you a castle tower and a reason to keep climbing. Lava rises from the bottom at a steady rate, ladders and platforms go up, and traps sit on the route because it would be too easy otherwise.

Climbing is not simply holding up. Ladders take time, jumps are faster but riskier, and a dash gets you past a trap you could not have timed. Knowing when to leave the ladder is the difference between a good run and a wet one.

The two-player mode is where it becomes a different game. You share the tower, the lava is coming for both of you, and you have a punch. Slowing your opponent by half a second is often worth more than climbing well yourself, and the first one into the lava loses.

Single player is a pure survival score and two player is a short, loud argument. Both are over quickly, which is the correct length for a game whose only real rule is that the floor is disappearing.
