Description

Lucy inherits a stretch of coastline that used to be a resort and is now mostly sand, broken decking and overgrown paths. Merge Lagoon hands you the board she works from: a grid of tools, materials and finds that combine into better versions of themselves the moment two identical pieces sit side by side.

Every repair on the island asks for a specific item, and that item only exists a few merges up the chain. A hammer is not a hammer for long; three of them fold into something sturdier, and that in turn becomes the thing the beach bar actually needs. Reading the order requests backwards, from what a building wants down to what you already hold, is most of the game.

Finishing a renovation opens the next stretch of coast, and each new area brings its own generators, its own characters and its own small story about what the lagoon used to be. Stars earned from completed orders decide which stage of the makeover unlocks next, so the island grows in the order you choose rather than a fixed line.

There is no timer and no fail state. Board space is the only pressure: generators keep producing, unmerged clutter keeps piling, and a tidy grid is worth more than a fast one. It is the kind of game you leave open in a tab and return to whenever you want something to click into place.
