Description

The truck sits on suspension that reacts to everything, and the tracks are built out of ramps, gaps and obstacles that use that against you. Driving forward is easy; landing is where levels are won and lost, because a truck that comes down nose-first is a truck that is finished.

Because of that, the up and down keys keep working while you are in the air. Tilting the nose one way or the other mid-jump is how you set up the landing, and getting it right turns a jump that would have ended the run into one that carries you into the next obstacle with speed to spare.

Nitro on Shift is there for the ramps that need more approach speed than the track hands you. Using it early is the common mistake, since arriving too fast is exactly as bad as arriving too slow — it just fails at the other end of the jump.

Customisation lets you change the truck between attempts, and the levels grow steadily more willing to punish a careless line. Nothing here needs more than the arrow keys, Shift and the space bar, which keeps the whole thing playable within a minute of starting.
