Description

A pitch comes in and you flick to swing. There is no timing bar and no separate power control — the direction and accuracy of that single flick is the whole input, and everything about the result follows from it.

The pitches move on a pendulum, which means their path is a curve rather than a straight line. A flick aimed at where the ball is will meet it late; the swing has to be sent at where the arc is taking it, and that is what the variety of pitches is testing.

Contact quality decides distance. A flick that meets the ball squarely sends it far; one that catches an edge produces a hit that goes nowhere in particular. The difference between the two is small enough that consistency matters more than force.

Because there is only one input, the game is quick to start and hard to be good at, which is the right shape for a batting simulator. Sessions are a series of pitches rather than full innings, so it fits into short stretches of time.
